California Maritime Infrastructure Bank and Authority
When the director of Port of Stockton got on board of California Maritime Infrastructure Bank and Authority, he asked us to rebuild their upcoming meeting brochure that was laid out in MS Word.
We also were assigned to do some logo explorations.
As a lead designer on this project, I created a new layout, using corporate fonts and colors, picked the images, and icons.
The idea behind the logo was to bring to life a new symbol for the conservative government organization and make it more approachable.
I used a cursive "maritime" Courgette font combined with more official but still friendly Amaranth. California silhouette emphasized that this is a state organization.
The brochure was prepared for print with the highest pre-press standards.
The result led to the client's satisfaction beyond our expectations.
